 Jorge lives in Guadalajara, in the outskirts of Madrid. He is 10 years old and he is an only child. He is tall, fair-haired, green-eyed and a cheerful boy. Jorge doesn't have a dog or a cat because he is allergic. He has a beautiful bird called Tintín. It has black, yellow, brown and red feathers. (Tintín is a cartoon character known in all of Europe, much like Winnie the Pooh in English.)

On the weekends, he goes sometimes to see a soccer match with his father. On Sundays he goes to the church and then to have something to eat. When there are any, he likes to see the races of Formula One and his favorite driver is Fernando Alonso. He likes what his mother cooks and his favorite food at home is the steak with potatoes.

Jorge is in the 5th grade. His favorite teacher is Ana; she teaches Religion. She is very kind and explains well. Jorge loves Physical Education because he can do exercise. At school, Jorge also has English classes. He spends one hour or one hour and a half doing his homework after school.

Jorge's best friend is called Jorge! He is also 10 years old, fair-haired and tall like Jorge. They like PlayStation and to go out to play soccer in the park.

The holiday that Jorge likes the most is “The White Week” (La Semana Blanca) in February. Jorge likes to read, he likes to see thrillers and to swim. His favorite color is blue and he likes to spend his summer holiday at Valencia. When he grows up, Jorge would like to be a fireman. The food that he likes the least is the fish, he hates noise and his favorite flavor is of chocolate.
