Andrea J., Cuernavaca, Mexico

 

 Andrea is a Mexican girl and she is 14 years old. She is the elder sister of Luis Enrique. She lives with her parents and her two younger brothers in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. She doesn't have a pet - but she would like to have a dog. The problem is that a dog is big, so most probably some day she’ll get an iguana!

Andrea likes Math. She studies English at school. Her favorite teacher is José Luis and he teaches soccer. Andrea says that he is responsible, persevering and friendly. She has about two hours of homework daily. Andrea doesn't eat at school because all the children leave in the afternoon and eat the main meal with their families. At home her favorite food is enchiladas and quesadillas. Usually she drinks water. The food that she doesn't like at all is onion.

On weekends, Andrea goes out to eat ice cream with her friends, Violeta and Erik. She cannot see her friends a lot after school because she has homework to do and she has dinner with their family.

When she grows up, Andrea wants to be an architect. If she had a wish, she would hope that there were no poverty in the world.
